The Huntingdonshire Arts Society has established a fund in memory of the late Isobel Lattimore, for many years the group leader of the active and accomplished Embroidery Volunteers.
Two main prizes will be awarded each year, one to an adult member of the Society, and one to a school student. The remit is wide ranging; submissions could include embroidery, weaving, applique, patchwork, knitting, crochet, felting, a framed textile creation, and clothing.
Members will be invited to a special viewing to vote for their choice for a Member’s Prize, to be awarded in addition to those chosen by the judges. The winner of the youth competition would be included in the exhibition.
The prizes would be awarded at the AGM.
